Marsh Speedwell - Veronica scutellata

Uncommon compared to American Brooklime, the other speedwell common in streams and marshes. This species, photographed late in the season (at Ohanapecosh on September 8, 2016) has small blue to white flowers; at right is a developing seed pod.
