Grouseberry - Vaccinium scoparium

A small shrub found between 4000 and 7000 feet, chiefly on the north and east sides of the Park, this "broomlike" plant grows in open woods, in thickets, and at meadow edges. Photographed along the trail to Frozen Lake on August 26, 2014.
