A common low shrub, especially in the northeast corner of the Park. It is frequently seen growing beneath the "skirts," or lower branches of conifers. The berries are small and reddish, with little flavor. Photographed (left) on the Shadow Lake Trail on July 20, 2017, and (center and right) at the White River Campground on June 17, 2015.
