Menzies's Spirea - Spiraea douglasii var. menziesii

Growing in similar situations as the variety douglasii, this is much less common but reaching about 4000 feet, and seen in the greatest numbers at Mountain Meadows and at a small lake on the Laughingwater trail. Photographed at a swamp near the Ohanapecosh entrance on July 24, 2014.
