Broad-fruited Bur-reed - Sparganium eurycarpum

Unlike the other two bur-reeds in the Park, the leaves of this species mostly rise above the water. Found in just a few ponds in the Park, including one on the Silver Falls loop trail. Photographed on August 28, 2014.
