Dwarf Goldenrod - Solidago simplex var. nana

Forming small mounds, this goldenrod is found between 6000 and 7000 feet on talus slopes and ridgetops, around the Mountain. Photographed on the Skyline Trail above Paradise, August 14, 2014.
