Oregon Catchfly - Silene oregana

Rare in the Park and known only from mountains on the eastern border - Naches Peak, Yakima Peak, and Crystal Peak. The species is found elsewhere in Washington east of the Cascades and from Mount Adams southwards. Photographed (left) on Naches Peak in a small, dry meadow, on August 13, 2013, and (right) along the Crystal Peak Trail on July 28, 2016.
