Snow Willow - Salix nivalis
Frequent on alpine slopes on the north and east sides of the Park between 6500 and 7500 feet, generally on north-facing slopes among small rocks. The whole plant grows to a height of only two inches. Photographed on the trail up First Burroughs Mountain, August 7, 2014.
