The Flora of Mount Rainier -- a Photographic Journey, by Susan McDougall
Snow Dewberry - Rubus nivalis
Uncommon, found in dense forests between 2500 and 4000 feet, on the south and west sides of the Park. The flowers, with pink to purplish petals, are seldom seen and tiny, ripe fruit even more rarely. Photographed on the Twin Firs Trail, August 28, 2014.
