Common around the Park below 5000 feet, but never abundant in any one place, growing in more or less open  places. The flowers are white but "leucodermis" refers to the white bloom on the main stems. Photographed (left and right) on Highway 410 south of the Park entrance, July 24, 2015, and (center) at the Longmire Campground, July 1, 2014.
