Ponderosa Pine - Pinus ponderosa var. ponderosa
The rarest conifer in the Park, this species, common east of the Cascades, can be found in small numbers on slopes along the eastern border of the Park, above 5000 feet. Photographed on the Crystal Peak Trail, July 28, 2016.
