Spreading Phlox - Phlox diffusa var. longistylis

A very common mat-like plant, found between 5500 and 7500 feet throughout the Park, growing on stony slopes, ridges, and flats. Photographed (left) on Naches Peak, August 3, 2013, and (center and right) at the Nisqually Overlook on June 4, 2014.
