Changeable Phacelia - Phacelia mutabilis
Uncommon below about 4500 feet, found on seasonally moist ground in open woods and most easily seen along roads and trails. This plant is beginning to ripen its seed; a few whitish flowers can be seen at the top of the plant. Photographed at Sunshine Point, July 8, 2014.
