Bracted Lousewort - Pedicularis bracteosa var. latifolia

A very common plant in the subalpine, where it grows in meadows and on moist slopes, as well as at the fringes of trees, between 5000 and 7000 feet. Photographed on the Skyline Trail, August 14, 2014.
