Alpine Mitrewort - Pectiantia pentandra

Despite the common name, this is a plant of moist places in forests and on streambanks at middle elevations, between 3000 and 5500 feet. With unusual comb-like petals, this is worth a close-up look. Photographed at the edge of the Longmire Meadow, June 10, 2014.
