Mountain-Boxwood - Paxistima myrsinites

Often abundant, mostly on dryish slopes and in open forests reaching about 6000 feet throughout the Park. The small red flowers are easy to miss early in the season. Photographed at Ricksecker Point, May 13, 2104.
