The Flora of Mount Rainier -- a Photographic Journey, by Susan McDougall
Naked Broomrape - Orobanche uniflora
This leafless but colorful little plant parasitizes sedums and possibly saxifrages and Small-leaved Montia, and so is found in places where the hosts are found, often in crevices on wet or mossy banks and cliffs. Photographed in Stevens Canyon on June 5, 2014.
