The Flora of Mount Rainier -- a Photographic Journey, by Susan McDougall
Rusty Saxifrage - Micranthes ferruginea
Very common on streambanks, seasonally wet rocky areas, and along trails, seeming to favor disturbed soils. In many plants, some of the flowers are replaced by small plantlets (seen in the photo at left). Photographed at Box Canyon, June 11, 2014.
