Oregon Crabapple - Malus fusca
An unusual small tree, found in a few low-elevation swamps, as around Ohanapecosh and in the lower valley of the Nisqually River. The flowers are white and the fruit reddish, resembling a tiny apple. Photographed on the Silver Falls loop trail, August 28, 2014.
