The Flora of Mount Rainier -- a Photographic Journey, by Susan McDougall
Wild Lily-of-the-Valley - Maianthemum dilatatum
Very common below 4000 feet, growing in open forests, at forest edges, and along roads and trails. Unusual for a lily-like plant, the small white flowers have four petals. Photographed in fruit on the Twin Firs Trail, August 28, 2014.
