Alaska Clubmoss - Lycopodium sitchense

 The common clubmoss of dryer subalpine meadows, dense enough to make small "carpets" on favorable ground. Its cones resemble those of Alpine Clubmoss. Photographed at Barn Flat below Paradise, August 15, 2014.
