Alpine Clubmoss - Lycopodium alpinum
Uncommon and typically found on rocky slopes and in forest openings above 5000 feet. This is a vascular plant, not a true moss, and bears its spores in slender "cones" atop the stems. Photographed near Upper Tipsoo Lake on June 29, 2016.
