Dwarf Lupine - Lupinus lepidus var. lobbii
The common lupine between 7000 and 9000 feet, although down to about 6000 in some places, growing on open, stony flats and slopes, often in pumice. Photographed on First Burroughs Mountain on August 26, 2014; the white form on the Paradise Glacier trail on August 29, 2014.
