Ballhead Waterleaf - Hydrophyllum capitatum var. capitatum
A plant of the hills of eastern Washington, this species comes into the Park on the Crystal Mountain ridgeline, growing in light shade; the flowers in the ball-like cluster are violet. Photographed on Crystal Mountain on August 8, 2014.
