Elk Sedge - Carex geyeri
An uncommon sedge, with a very different appearance, growing on dry, rocky, open to lightly wooded slopes between 5000 and 7000 feet, on the east side of the Park. Photographed on the trail to Frozen Lake on August 7, 2014.
