A common and signature flower of subalpine meadows throughout the Park, found between 5000 and 6500 feet. Formerly known as Polygonum bistortoides. Photographed (left) near Sluiskin Falls on the Skyline Trail on August 2, 2013, and at Paradise on August 14, 2014.
