Wild Ginger - Asarum caudatum
Widespread throughout the Park to about 4500 feet in forests, in moist places, but nowhere especially abundant. The dark green, heart-shaped leaves are distinctive. Photographed on the Carter Falls Trail on June 10, 2014.
