Very common throughout the Park above 2500 feet, reaching 6000, in dry forests, on rocky slopes, and on sunny roadcuts. Photographed (left) at Ricksecker Point on June 11, 2014, and right, along the main road where it crosses the the Cowlitz Divide on June 22, 2014.The photo shows Pinemat Manzanita on the left, Kinnikinnick on the right, a most unusual pairing.
