Western Dwarf Mistletoe - Arceuthobium campylopodium

Fairly common but not at all easy to find, the short stems of this mistletoe blend in with twigs of the host tree, here (left and right) Silver Fir and (center) Western Hemlock. The fruits will be white when ripe. Photographed close to the White River ranger station on August 19, 2016.
