Rocky Mountain Maple - Acer glabrum var. douglasii
The least common of the three maples in the Park, this small tree is most frequently seen in the northeast quarter of the Park, although it can be found widely scattered elsewhere below 4500 feet. Photographed (left, center) in Stevens Canyon on June 4, 2014 and (right) in the slide area along the White River Road just west of Highway 410 on September 9, 2016.
